Zaib Shaikh is a Canadian actor, writer, director, and cultural leader with a career spanning film, television, and public service. Best known for his role on Little Mosque on the Prairie, he has also worked extensively behind the camera and in creative leadership roles. Zaib previously served as Toronto’s Film Commissioner, supporting the growth of the city’s screen industries, and later as Canada’s Consul General in Los Angeles, strengthening ties between Canadian creators and the global entertainment market. He currently serves as Head of Production at Scrollhouse, overseeing creative development and production strategy.
